Need to Know … from John Placko, Culinary Director of Modern Culinary Academy: “The talented Jonathan Poon is under control in this open kitchen even when it is jam packed. Be ready for a little heat as most of the dishes have a good amount of chili-inspired ingredients. The spicy popcorn shrimp is amazing as well as the fancy wings but as usual I normally order one of every item in the menu when it's not too large. The techniques and textures are well executed, with plating with powerful flavours. The only dessert is a banana split with kid-friendly Fruit Loops cereal. Fun.”
